Melissa Locke was raised in the Midwest. At a very young age, she spent many years formally trained in dance. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Purdue University. After college she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. She is member of the Screen Actors Guild.  She is a fashion and commercial model.  She is a runway fashion model for LA and NY Fashion Week. 
Melissa Locke is married to celebrity Plastic Surgeon, T. Y. Steven Ip, MD and together they are involved in many charitable organizations.
